There’s plenty of beach riding year round, but it’s not possible to ride on the beach for the entire stretch of the dunes. Some sections of the beach are closed to motorized travel all year, while a couple small sections are closed seasonally from March 15 – September to protect the Western Snowy Plover that uses the beaches for their nesting grounds.
Anyone who has decided to avoid dune bashing, which is the first activity of the Dubai Evening Desert Safari, will be dropped off directly at the campsite before heading for the dune bashing in the golden sands zone.
The aptly-named Kite Beach is the perfect place to test out your watersports skills, although there's plenty to do out of the water at this popular spot too. Grab a smoothie from one of the many open-air cafes and restaurants, watch bikers and skaters fly by at the skate park, or enjoy a game of volleyball with friends on the sand.
Then we were on a very beautiful Dahabieh, a sailing boat sailing on the Nile which can be taken in tow in case of pelo wind. An original way of sailing on the Nile and allowing you to discover villages where classic cruise ships do not approach. Life on board was very pleasant, in a small group (10 passengers traveling with their guides). The meals on board were delicious and varied, but we warn you, alcohol was nowhere to be found!!! think about it first! On December 31st we celebrated under the starry sky and the crew treated us to a little musical and dancing show!It was very good and we will travel again with Terra Trips: Egypt is a discovery that is always renewed.
